How to bypass Cyberoam Client – Hack Cyberoam

This post was published long ago, when I was a student and an amateur blogger. The links might be outdated and content may not be useful anymore. Please read this content keeping its age in mind.

Many of my friends and reader have been asking for an way to bypass cyberoam. Most of the organizations , educational institutes like schools and colleges are implementing cyberoam –unified threat management system now-a-days. Cyberoam is used to make filtration’s to the sites being browsed by the users i.e. unwanted sites are being blocked (Eg: facebook, orkut etc) Let see the details of cyberoam before cracking cyberoam 🙂

What is Cyberoam :

Cyberoam is Identity-based unified threat management appliances, offer comprehensive threat protection with firewall-VPN, anti-virus, anti-spam, intrusion prevention system, content filtering in addition to bandwidth management and multiple link load balancing and gateway fail over.

Identity-based controls and visibility are critical components of network security. With identity and network data combined, enterprises are able to identify patterns of behavior by specific users or groups that can signify misuse, unauthorized intrusions, or malicious attacks from inside or outside the enterprise. Activities and security policy rules can be enforced on network segments based on identity.

Hacking Cyberoam !

“For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction”. Similar if cyberoam is blocking something there should be an way to unblock it. Nothing is impossible in the world of programming. The difficult part of cyberoam it is the system comprising of both hardware and software. Yet we could bypass it using Ultra surf proxy software as i explained in my post. Now that cyberoam has started blocking ultra surf also we have unblock cyberoam using a new method. this method is little complicated, includes two different software’s and manual configurations.  But ultimately at the end you get the freedom ! Freedom to browse the internet freely ! free to open your sites of interest like facebook orkut etc ! Freedom to download warez ! Freedom to download torrents ! Freedom to be unmonitored !


How to get going??

Phase 1 : Detecting external IP and open ports

Step 1 : Download Free Port Scanner Software

The first software required to crack software is a free port scanner software. For your convenience i have upload it online and you can download from http://hotfile.com/dl/13028395/0467e17/FreePortScanner.rar.html

Step 2 : Install free port scanner

Once you have downloaded the free port scanner , you have install it on your system. The installation is typical to any other software installation on windows. You can follow the screenshots for smooth installation.

A. Double click on setup file and initialize the installation.

B. Choose the directory (destination location) where the software has to be installed

C. Select the start menu folder

D. Choose whether you want to create desktop icon and quick launch icon (optional)

E. Ready to install !

F. Completion of installation and launching the application.

Step 3 : Detecting the static IP assigned to your organization.

We need to find out the static IP assigned to your organization which is allocated by the ISP. Here the mechanism of hacking cyberoam is the route the packets directly to the external IP of your organization , thus bypassing cyberoam. Detecting your external IP is pretty simple

Here the site will display your IP address. Please note down your IP address which we will be using again in the further steps.

Step 4 : Scanning open ports for your external IP address

Run the free port scanner software which was installed in Step 2. Enter the IP displayed at www.WhatIsMyIP.com in the field for IP address. Keep the other settings default and perform and port scan. This may take a few minutes.

A. Entering IP address whose port has to be scanned.

B. Scan results

Once the scan is completed note down the port number of the port named “ndl-aas”. This ends the first phase of haking cyberoam

Phase 2 : Configuring proxy server

Step 1 : Download Proxifier – proxy software

The second software require to hack cyberoam is Proxifier. This software helps us to bypass cyberoam through proxy sevrer. For your convinience i have uploaded it online and you can download it at http://hotfile.com/dl/12316294/d423ac4/Proxifier_v2.7_CrAcK.rar.html

Step 2 : Install proxifier software

Once you have downloaded the proxifier software , you have install it on your system. The installation is typical to any other software installation on windows. You can follow the screenshots for smooth installation.

A. Double click on setup file and initialize the installation.

B. Accept Licence Agreement

C. Choose the directory (destination location) where the software has to be installed

D. Select the start menu folder

E. Choose whether you want to create desktop icon (optional)

F. Ready to install !

G. Completion of installation

Please not to deselect launch application while finishing the installation process. proxifier is an proprietary software. If you cannot buy it you have to use a crack (Illegal – at your own risk). You need to replace the original exe file with the crack file , in the installation directory.

Step 3 : Configuring Proxifier software

The key of bypassing cyberoam lies in configuring the proxifier software. The IP address and port we detected earlier comes to use now.

  • Under menu goto Proxy Settings

  • After opening the proxy setting click on “Add”
  • Enter the IP address and port which where detected in earlier step
  • Use “HTTPS” protocol.
  • Check if the proxy is working properly (Else can’t help)
  • Select OK

  • Done !!!!
  • Open your favorite sites now !

Although this method is a tedious , time consuming it yields the best results. It is almost impossible for the network administrator to block this method !

Note :

  • It might not work if your organization does not have an static IP.
  • You need to run Proxifier first before opening the browser.

        may be ur IPS of cyberoam is not upgraded to latest version. With IPS version 2.4.39, proxifier is been blocked and logged my attempts for using it.

        Do you have any other trick? please help

    What ip address did you get when you tried http://www.whatismyip.com ?

    As per to the IP address(Logged with your comment) you are from Istanbul Ticaret Universitesi

    The IP addresses assigned to your universit are ranging between 88.255.179.0 – 88.255.179.255

    You could scan these range of ip address and try to find a host with an open port.

    Let me know the outputs so i can help further 🙂

    As per to the IP address(Logged with your comment) you are from Istanbul Ticaret Universitesi

    The IP addresses assigned to your universit are ranging between 88.255.179.0 – 88.255.179.255

    You could scan these range of ip address and try to find a host with an open port.

        ndl-ass port showz active but a cross is also dere…
        now.. wat sud i do??
        i had tried all d ip.address given by my university from zero to 255..
        but dont find a port with green arrow for ndl-ass.. but smtp and pop3 port are open and green…
        now.. plz help me ..

    Thanks for reply ,but problem is not download speed .The problem is that they have fixed the download limit to 3GB per month.I have already told that this method increases my download speed.

        GUYS GUYS GUYS …. I TRIED PROXIFIER BUT LET ME TELL YOU THAT CYBEROAM COULD BLOCK PROXIFIER IF YOUR ADMIN HAS PUT THE SIGNATURE IN DROP MODE.

        IF YOUR ADMIN HAS PUT IT IN DETECT THEN YOU COULD SURF THROUGH PROXIFIER BUT IT WILL LOG YOUR PROXIFIER ATTEMPT IN REPORT AND COULD RISK YOU. SO BEWARE

          I have been using proxifier from years and i have not faced any problems yet. I can access any blocked site like orkut, facebook etc and also im able to download through torrents at a rate more than 500Kbps.

          What risk do you mean by the way?

    i am also getting the same problem….ndl-aas port is closed..there is a red cross before it…please help dude…sandeep hegde has already helped a lot of people…now somebody please help us also for whom this thing is not working….come on guys, you know how frustrating it is when almost every site that you want to open is blocked…plzzzzz

    hey thanks buddy, this works. But there is a problem with it, i have been logout from the cyberom after some time and in proxifier it shows a message that “could to connect to server…………….”.
    If u know something about it plz help me , or give me another way to bypass the cyberoam.

    Hello,

    Has your cyberoam administrator implied some time restriction for usage?

    You will be povided net access after you are authenticated through cyberoam. Since cyberoam has been logged out, you might be denied with net access, so does the proxifier !

    Anyways i'm trying to find a new way to bypass cyberoam, will let you if i find one 🙂

    Thanks for your compliments.

    My Yahoo Messenger works very well without any extra settings. Under Yahoo Messenger Connection Preferences I'm using “Connect directly to Internet”. Please verify if you are using same?

    I have tried all in the connection settings of yahoo messenger. Direct, Proxy as well as socks but nothing works for me. Can I please have your e-mail address or yahoo id so that I could discuss a bit with you. Mine is ashna_ajnabi@ymail.com. Maybe there is some problem with the ports open in my case.

    Hi again .today I was trying all the day .and God help me.I try to use proxifier with another brownser .like orca brownser. it work with very good .I don't known why IE8 not work .may be admin ……..of my school hack in to this computer and made something . because another computer can run ultrasuft and proxifier but only my computer can't .ultil now I change brownser to orca. and it work fine.

    i was using proxyfier it was working well bt now past 2 days if im using proxyfier my internet is not working for sometime it works n dn it stops working then i close proxyfier n restart proxyfier again it works bt i hav to repeat this work again n again………help!!!!!!

    Proxifier is really a great lightweight software.The only problem which I am facing is that the connection frequently get disconnected(almost in every 5 minutes).Then again I have to exit the proxifier,logout from cyberoam,again login and then finally reopen the proxifier.Only after this I am able to access the blocked sites.This is really irritating.Is there any method to solve this problem?Also there is a data transfer limit of 100MB per day.Do you have ant trik to bypass this limit?

    Hi .I am very happy with proxifier until yesterday. The computer administrator come to see this computer.and they said this computer use a lot of bandwidth .they search some program .and close all browser.But they did not found such program .because I setup the proxifier in hidden folder .now I have some questions.
    1. With cyberoam they are known every activity or just known the log files of bandwidth usage.
    2. Can I hide completely my activity from cyberoam.
    3. may be I encrypt all activity by any program.

    i am deepak from thapar university , patiala , punjab . i tried this method but now it has been blocked and moreever i am not able to access internet from anywhere , neither from college nor from home . when i run port scanner after plugging in my lan wire into my dell laptop , it shows that majority of the ports like http , https , ftp , telnet , ndl-aas etc. are closed . please mail the solution to my id .

    I tried this procedure n im facing some major problems,
    1. the port scanner shows all the ports to be closed (ndl-ass; 3128)
    2. proxifier is not able to setup the proxy, the testing fails

    after 5 to 10 min there occurs an error please relogin.. what is tht..??
    my proxifier in hostel works only for 5 10 min..
    then i have to refresh the login page of cyberoam..
    now what to do…

    there is a problem in our cyberoam.when we are going to login into the cyberoam then proxifier will work.actually we got 100mb limit on our accounts in cyberoam.i want to bypass this limit.can u suggest me something?

    bro m using d full version of “proxifier”.,as u said above.i did that & successfully surf d inet.but d main prob is our cyberoam server is running with our login password & 100 mb limit.Speed is upto 4mbps but limit is there..just tell me what should i do to bypass this LIMIT??

      Hi Harpreet,

      Set the proxy and port both in proxifier as well browser settings. This method is working for me , and im able to browse without logging in into cyberoam client. Let me know if it works for you 🙂

    i was using proxifier for more tha a month.but know its not working. ithink it has been blocked by cyberoam i was using port 3128. the port is still active..but proxfier shows an error of third party filter and doesnot connect..plzz suggest something

    Hi, I am a JNU student. Here also cyberoam is used to prevent orkut and other sites to open. I tried the method described in your website “http://sandeephegde.me/2009/09/20/how-to-bypass-cyberoam-client-hack-cyberoam/”. The port named “ndl-aas” is also blocked here (only one port named “https” is open), so I cant access blocked sites. Please help…

    Have used this hack, works perfectly well, the web proxy runs on 3128, the default squid port, so u can hump this box the way you want.
    However what i want o know if anyone here has had the time to open the box and see whats under the hood?

    due to new server admin
    not work for me now OUR COLLEGE campus cyberoam CLIENT is more restricted
    blocked
    otherwise firstly it was best option for proxy

    just in ur student login of cyberroam in d address bar…where ever “client” is written replace it with “admin”….u ill get a admin login page in a link of web admin console….now inject this page using sql injector n fuck cyberroam…maa ki chut maa faad do

    I’m looking for a software that let me input the list of books I have[Author – Title], generates a list of all books written by the author and diffrentiates between the books I have and the ones I don’t. The software I’ve seen only lets me work with books that I have and doesn’t list out books that I don’t have by the same author.

    my college has cyberoam installed. proxifier works perfectly fine for browsing, however, i’m unable to download torrents despite using proxifier. i’m currently using utorrent. could you please help me to get torrents working?

    in my college there is data usage limit in cyberoam, after using 100mb it automatically logs out and i cant use it till the next day. please tell how to block this data usage limit?

      just change your dg address ..
      your current dg address is 192.168.1. and so on. (it means last digit show your cyberoam address..)
      bypass it with router address..
      if u known router address of your college network then write down that router address into dg..
      this change shows you jst bypass your firewall and no restriction to access all the sites through internet..

    This is now an obsolete way…and I can tell you how to make use of the limited ID usage like 100 mb for a day in an unlimited fashion…but the blockes sites need to be opened from tor only…or other proxy sites….

    hi guys there is one more way of doing it.
    just copy paste this in your URL tab 176.31.222.34 it will open a site called proxymise me there you can see an URL field just type in the site you want to open and you’re done. Here is an image of proxymise me.
